EL's Premier Batter Picked Sunday, September 1st, 2019 Yokohama (Ni-Gun) Bay Stars fans believe they've got a talented young star in Lourdes Gourriel Jr.. He did nothing to dissuade that notion in August, as he hit .333 with 8 home runs, 20 RBIs and 17 runs scored. The end result was the shortstop being named the Eastern League Batter of the Month. Thus far this year Gourriel Jr. is batting .369 with 19 home runs, 66 RBIs and 73 runs scored. |
