EL Awards Best Batter Prize to Segovia Monday, July 29th, 2019 Alejandro Segovia made quite a splash in the Eastern League this past week. The Yomiuri (Ni-Gun) Giants first baseman drilled opposing pitchers for 6 hits in 13 at-bats to roll up a .462 batting average and the Eastern League Player of the Week Award. He also contributed 2 home runs, 6 RBIs and 4 runs scored to his club's offensive attack. Currently Segovia is hitting .290 and has collected 14 home runs, 44 RBIs and scored 43 times, while playing in 84 games. |
