Tanaka Wins JPL Player of the Week Monday, September 23rd, 2019 It was a fantastic week for Hokkaido Nippon-Ham right fielder Masafumi Tanaka and it was capped off today with the announcement that he was named the winner of the Pacific League Player of the Week Award. Last week Tanaka hammered the ball at a torrid .389 pace, going 7-for-18 with 3 home runs, 7 RBIs and 4 runs scored. This season Tanaka is batting .233 with 14 home runs. |
