Central League Names Rookie of Month Sunday, September 1st, 2019 Kody Clemens earned August's Rookie of the Month honors in the Central League for last month's performance. The boyish Tokyo Yakult third baseman might be wet behind the ears, but he's proving that he has what it takes to play at this level. Clemens hit .336 with 10 home runs, 35 RBIs and 17 runs scored this past month on his way to winning the award. This season Clemens is hitting .306 with 66 hits, 14 home runs, 49 RBIs, scored 29 runs and played in 80 games. |
