JCL Announces Player of the Week Monday, August 5th, 2019 Makoto Ine did nothing to hurt his value as an upcoming free agent last week, making contact with the ball at every opportunity and reeling in the Central League Player of the Week Award. The catcher hit .435 for the Dragons, recording 10 hits in 23 at-bats, 4 home runs, 7 RBIs and 6 runs scored. This season Ine is hitting .226 with 44 hits, 12 home runs, 27 RBIs, scored 23 runs and played in 53 games. |
