Buffaloes Crowned Kings of the Pacific League Wednesday, September 30th, 2020 Matt Anderson said it takes "a lot of dedication and sacrifice" to win a division title. That's why he and his Orix Buffaloes teammates were so excited to celebrate their Pacific League championship today. "It's been a team effort all year long," he said. "You don't get to this point without the guys in the room believing in what we're doing." That belief has paced the club to a 83-58 record on the season. It is the club's 2nd Pacific League championship and puts them in position for their 1st Nippon Professional Baseball League championship. "It's a talented bunch in that room," the team's skipper said, pointing to his celebrating players. "I wouldn't bet against us." |
