Dayan Viciedo Drills 3 HR in One Game Sunday, August 30th, 2015 Fans from Ras al-H_aymah are still buzzing after Ras al-H_aymah whipped the Kings 10-7 today at Baton Rouge Grounds. Dayan Viciedo smashed three home runs in the game. This is a feat that few players ever achieve and few fans ever see. In a tremendous performance the left fielder bashed out 3 hits in 4 at-bats, had 7 RBIs and scored 3 times. At the postgame press conference, he was asked what it felt like to hit three home runs in one game. Viciedo answered, "To get one homer is special... two is great... three is just unbelievable!" Dayan Viciedo hit a three-run home run off Corey Kluber in the 1st, walked in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Cre Finfrock in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Cre Finfrock in the 7th and grounded out in the 9th. This season Viciedo has delivered 129 hits in 452 at-bats for a .285 average with 26 home runs. He is getting on base at a .329 clip and his totals also include 78 RBIs and 58 runs scored. This year Viciedo has played in 120 games. |
