Chatwood Fires Shutout in Baton Rouge Win Monday, September 7th, 2015 Everything clicked on the hill today for Tyler Chatwood of the Baton Rouge Kings as he hurled his club to a 10-0 shutout win over the Coruscant Padawans, limiting them to 5 hits while recording 8 strikeouts and yielding 2 walks. He overpowered some batters with his fastball and buckled knees with his sharp breaking pitches. "We had our shot at him a couple of different times," the Padawans manager said, "but we weren't able to get to him." Checking out his stats for the season, Chatwood has racked up 13 wins and 9 losses in 29 starts, 2.57 ERA and struck out 214 batters in 199.1 innings. |
