Khevin Brewer discovered that when he cracked three homers at Silver Sox Ballpark during today's game against the Scott City Silver Sox and lost. "I have mixed emotions about this game," he said. "It's great to hit three homers, but it's hard to be happy when you lose the game." The Erie left fielder went on to describe his big day in his postgame interview. "I got three balls to hit and nailed all three of them." He got his name in the league record book, but the Silver Sox walked away with a 12-11 triumph. Brewer finished the day with 3 hits in 3 at-bats and 5 RBIs. Khevin Brewer hit a solo-shot off Jiovanni Orozco in the 2nd, hit a three-run home run off Jiovanni Orozco in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Davis Martin in the 5th and walked in the 7th. For the season Brewer has produced 28 hits in 77 at-bats for a .364 average with 7 home runs and gotten on base at a .393 clip. |
