Lynchburg Celebrates Wild Card Win Thursday, October 9th, 2025 They won't go into the Fantasy Baseball League of Doom playoffs as odds-on favorites, but the Lynchburg Hornets still like their chances after capturing a wild card playoff berth. "We feel good. We obviously wanted to win the Ellering League Animal Division, but we still feel we have what it takes to make a run here," said closer Dan Stevens. "If we can win this thing, no one's going to care that we didn't win the division." The club will be vying for its 3rd Fantasy Baseball League of Doom championship. |
