Sean Newcomb Out for Season Saturday, September 27th, 2025 The season is apparently over for Sean Newcomb. The Columbus Legion medical staff informed the club that the starting pitcher will be out at least 8 months with a torn rotator cuff. Newcomb was hurt in the game against Berkeley while throwing a pitch. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season. In 5 starts this season, Newcomb has recorded no wins and absorbed 3 losses. He has pitched 20.2 innings, allowed 31 hits, struck out 11 and has a 9.15 ERA. |
