Edward Salcedo Captures EL Award Monday, September 16th, 2019 Edward Salcedo is respected by most Lynchburg Hornets fans for his no-frills style of play. The 28-year-old third baseman went about his business with vigor last week to grab the Ellering League Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .368 average (7-for-19) with 3 home runs, 5 RBIs and 4 runs scored. In this current campaign Salcedo is hitting at a .245 clip with 12 home runs and 75 RBIs. |
