Hosmer Stretches Hit String to 20 Thursday, September 12th, 2019 Chalk up another one for Lynchburg first baseman Eric Hosmer. He now has hit in 20 straight games. Hosmer went 2-for-5 today's game at Chase Field. However, his club was defeated 11-7 by Charlotte. Eric Hosmer grounded out in the 1st, hit a two-run single in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, flied out in the 8th and was hit by a pitch in the 10th. For the season Hosmer is batting .271 with 158 hits and 16 home runs. He has scored 60 times and batted in 63. |
