Durham Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Friday, September 6th, 2019 Joe Ortiz said it's going to be "an awfully long offseason" after his team missed the Fantasy Baseball League of Doom playoffs. The club came close, but ultimately has run out of games to secure a postseason spot. The Bull Artists have missed the playoffs 109 times in their 118 years as a Fantasy Baseball League of Doom franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 3rd in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2016. In the last 10 seasons, the Bull Artists have missed the playoffs 5 times. Durham last won the World Series in 1984. |
