Rehab Road Tough For Lions Ryushi Tanaka Thursday, August 27th, 2020 Seibu (Ni-Gun) reliever Ryushi Tanaka reportedly suffered a setback this week while rehabilitating a herniated disc. Preliminary tests showed the injury had gotten worse and would need more time to be completely healed. An unidentified team official said it looked like it would be at least 2 weeks before Tanaka would be able to return to the active roster. Tanaka will see a specialist tomorrow. For the year Tanaka has collected no saves in 14 relief appearances. He has also notched 27 strikeouts and 13 walks in 21.2 innings while registering a 6.23 ERA and a 0-2 won-lost record. |
