The Deathland Weresloths did just enough to secure a 4-3 victory over the Philadelphia Black Cats at Black Cats Ballpark. Nobody did more than center fielder Michael A. Taylor, who captured player of the game honors. Matt Wisler got the win, improving to 8-4. He worked 8 innings, giving up 3 runs on 7 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 1. Deathland leads the Ellering League Droz Division by 11 games.

Taylor had a big at-bat with a runner on 2nd in the top of the sixth inning, when he hit a 2-run home run. The Weresloths went on to win.

"It's nice to come out on top today," said Taylor.
