Red Sox Turn Back Durham, 7-5

The Durham Bull Artists got a superb performance from catcher Yoan Moncada. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Pawtucket. The Red Sox won the game, 7-5. In spite of the loss, Moncada was named the player of the game. He was 3-3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Shae Simmons, credited with the save, is now 1 for 4 in save opportunities. The Red Sox improved to 66-57.
Hank Greenberg, who is tied for 10th in the EL in home runs with 28, chipped in for Pawtucket with a 3-run home run in the bottom of the third. For the game, the first baseman had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 3 RBI.
"I'm glad we can make our fans happy with a win," Greenberg told the Pawtucket News.
