The Atlantic City Illuminati dealt the Lynchburg Hornets a 8-1 loss at Castel Sant'Angelo. Shohei Otani was the star on offense. He went 3 for 4 with 2 home runs, a double, and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 6. The Illuminati bumped their record to 65-56 with this latest triumph.

Otani came through with some timely hitting for Atlantic City. With the score 0-0 in the bottom of the third and two down, Otani hit a 2-0 fastball for a 2-run home run. His 5th home run of the season made it 2-0, Atlantic City.
