The Columbus Legion defeated the Deathland Weresloths, 6-2, at Legion Ballpark today. Leading the charge for Columbus was third baseman Aurelio García. He slugged 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice. Corey Kluber earned the win to go to 10-8. He allowed 2 earned runs on 7 hits, with 3 walks and 3 strikeouts. Juan García converted his 6th save in 6 tries.

García had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the bottom of the sixth inning, when he hit a grand slam. The Legion went on to win.

"We'll savor this win," García told the Columbus Citizen, "then get ready for the next game."

Columbus's record now stands at 55-65, placing them third in the Ellering League Droz Division.
