Muckdogs Lose to Wizards in Walk Off
The Wizards had to overcome a fine effort from Batavia pitcher Clayton Kershaw to grab a narrow 3-2 win at Mage Tower Field. Kershaw went 7.1 innings and allowed no earned runs. At 52-67, the Wizards find themselves in last place in the Ellering League Animal Division.

Bobby Melley chipped in for Spellborough with a 3-run home run in the bottom of the ninth. For the game, the designated hitter had 2 hits in 3 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 3 runs batted in.

"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said Spellborough manager Lester Norton.
