Brogan, Royals Too Much for Batterologists
Shawn Brogan was instrumental in his team's 11-4 triumph over the Berkeley Batterologists. The left fielder was 3 for 3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 4 for the Charlotte Royals. Mike Foltynewicz got the win, improving to 4-5. He pitched 7 innings, giving up 9 hits and 4 runs, while striking out 3 and walking 4. The Royals bumped their record to 64-54 with this latest triumph.

Brogan had a big at-bat with runners on 2nd and 3rd in the bottom of the fifth inning, when he hit a 3-run home run. The Royals went on to win.
