Rodgers Slugs Moon Men to 8-4 Win

The Space City Moon Men defeated the Canadien Donkey Riders, 8-4, in Fantasy Baseball League of Doom action at Rogers Centre, with Space City shortstop Brendan Rodgers named player of the game. Space City reliever Dallas Keuchel was the winner. His record is now 7-1. Alex Wood took the loss. The winning streak has now reached 10 games for the Moon Men.
Had Reese McGuire not delivered a key base hit in the top of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 1st, McGuire hit a 2-run home run. That made the score 5-4, in favor of the Moon Men.
Rodgers called the triumph "a good team win."
