Hornets Lose to Boomers, 13-4
The New Vegas Boomers grabbed a 13-4 win over the Lynchburg Hornets at Moles Stadium. New Vegas third baseman Nolan Arenado went 2-4 with a home run and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 3 runs to earn player of the game honors. Hunter Parsons notched his 1st save in 1 chances. The Boomers bumped their record to 58-58 with this latest triumph.

In the bottom of the second inning, designated hitter Joe Wendle came through big-time for the Boomers. With New Vegas trailing 2-0, he belted a 2-run home run.

"We swung the bats good throughout the lineup," said New Vegas skipper James Kontra.
