Sano goes 3-for-3 as Wizards Squeeze Past Berkeley
Fans who gathered at Dodger Stadium saw a good contest between the Spellborough Wizards and Berkeley Batterologists.

The Spellborough Wizards did just enough to secure a 5-4 victory over the Berkeley Batterologists at Dodger Stadium. Nobody did more than third baseman Miguel Sano, who captured player of the game honors. Spellborough reliever Micah Miniard was the winner. His record is now 3-0. Roman Mendez took the loss.

A crucial at-bat came with runners on 2nd and 3rd and two out in the top of the eighth inning. That's when left fielder Adam Haseley drew a walk. The Wizards went on to win.

"I like the grit of this ballclub," Sano said.

The last-place Wizards raised their record to 50-66.
