Donkey Riders Win at Batavia, 6-4
|
The Canadien Donkey Riders topped the Batavia Muckdogs, 6-4, in Fantasy Baseball League of Doom action at Wrigley Field. The player of the game was Canadien pitcher Reggie Lawson. The winning pitcher was Lawson, now 1-0. He tossed 5 innings of 4-hit ball, while walking 1 and fanning 7. Picking up the save was Al Alburquerque, his 1st.
In the top of the third inning, left fielder Marcus Wilson came through big-time for the Donkey Riders. With Canadien leading 2-0, he belted a 2-run home run.
