Donkey Riders Use Late-Game Magic to Beat Royals
Charlotte catcher T.J. Collett was sensational. He was 2 for 3 with 2 home runs and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice, but it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Canadien beat the Royals, 6-5. Collett was named the player of the game despite the loss. Canadien has now won 3 straight, while the Royals have lost 3 in a row.

The Donkey Riders got a big at-bat from catcher Francisco Mejia. For the game, Mejia went 2-4 with 2 singles. In the top of the ninth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 32nd hit of the season gave Canadien a 6-5 lead.
