Extra-Inning Walk-Off Win for Hornets
The Lynchburg Hornets did just enough to secure a 6-5 victory over the Neptune Fighting Penguins at Hornets Nest. Nobody did more than designated hitter Eric Morton, who captured player of the game honors. The Hornets bumped their record to 58-54 with this latest triumph.

The Hornets got a big at-bat from third baseman Jeimer Candelario. For the game, Candelario went 1 for 4 with a double and a walk. In the bottom of the 13th, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 19th double of the season gave Lynchburg a 6-5 lead.

"This joint was rocking," said Candelario.
