The Atlantic City Illuminati got a stellar performance from pitcher Nick Pratto, who handcuffed the New Vegas offense en route to a 3-2 win at Castel Sant'Angelo. Craig Kimbrel was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 21 of 25 save opportunities. The Illuminati bumped their record to 58-49 with this latest triumph.

Had Manny Machado not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and the bases loaded, Machado hit a 2-run single. That made the score 3-2, in favor of the Illuminati.

"I still think this team has room for improvement," Pratto told the Atlantic City News.
