Illuminati Prevail, 3-1, Over Spellborough

With shortstop Juan Raimundo leading the charge, the Atlantic City Illuminati defeated the Spellborough Wizards, 3-1, at Castel Sant'Angelo. Raimundo, who was drafted in the two round of the 2019 draft, went 3-3 with a triple, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 times. Kyle Serrano got credit for the win, improving to 1-0. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.1 innings. Picking up the save was Matt Ramsey, his 1st.
A crucial at-bat came with runners on 1st and 3rd and one out in the bottom of the fourth inning. That's when second baseman Amed Rosario, who is rated as the 89th best prospect by BNN, drew a walk. The Illuminati went on to win.
"We put together a nice win," Raimundo said.
The Wizards fall to 5-6 and continue their uneasy start to the 2023 season.
