Deathland Bats Go Silent in 2-0 Loss
|
The Deathland Weresloths went down to defeat to Anthony Molina and his Batavia teammates. The final score was 2-0 in favor of the Muckdogs. Cody Allen notched his 27th save in 31 chances. The Muckdogs, now 73-87, have won 4 in a row.
The Muckdogs got a big at-bat from right fielder Alex Abbott. For the game, Abbott went 1-3 with a walk. In the bottom of the fourth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 189th hit of the season gave Batavia a 1-0 lead.
"I'm just happy to help the team win," Molina told the Batavia Gazette.
