Larson Stars in Legion Win
|
Columbus designated hitter Greg Larson played a vital role in his team's 7-5 triumph over Atlantic City. He went 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4 for Columbus. Columbus is now 68-92.
Larson had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the seventh. On a 1-0 fastball from Eduardo Rodriguez, he banged a 2-run home run to left, giving the Legion a 6-5 lead. It was the 44th home run of the year for Larson.
"I felt good up there," said Larson. "I saw the ball well."
