McGill goes 4-for-4 as Hornets Squeeze Past Space City
Lynchburg center fielder Dan McGill was instrumental in his team's 8-7 win over the Space City Moon Men. McGill, who is the top prospect in the Hornets organization, went 4-4 with 1 run scored to lead the offensive attack for the Hornets. The Hornets have now won 4 straight.

McGill had a game-changing double in the bottom of the seventh. On a 1-2 fastball from Antonio Bastardo, he banged a run-scoring double to right-center, giving the Hornets a 4-3 lead. It was the 22nd double of the year for McGill.

"Honestly, I'm not frustrated," said Space City manager Jeffrey Drozek-Fitzwater. "The effort was great."
