Wizards Prevail, 4-3, Over Durham

The Spellborough Wizards took Durham pitcher Kolby Allard's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Durham Bulls Athletic Park. The final score had Spellborough getting past the Bull Artists, 4-3. Allard went 6.2 innings and allowed 2 earned runs, striking out 6. Tyler Kolek got the save, his 13th in 15 chances. The last-place Wizards improved to 67-86.
Had Zack Prajzner not delivered a key base hit in the top of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 2nd, Prajzner hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 4-3, in favor of the Wizards.
"I felt good up there," said Prajzner. "I saw the ball well."
