Donkey Riders Walk Off with Win
|
Canadien Donkey Riders starter Reggie Lawson was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Batavia Muckdogs, 3-2. The Donkey Riders now own a record of 73-79.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when Canadien right fielder Michael Gettys, facing Kyle Crockett, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Donkey Riders the 3-2 win.
"It was terrific getting this win," Lawson said. "We put in a lot of work to do it."
