Alleghenys Walk It Off for 86th Win of Season

The Pittsburgh Alleghenys took Deathland pitcher Chris Sale's best shot and still were able to claim a win at PNC Park. The final score had Pittsburgh getting past the Weresloths, 2-1. Sale went 8 innings and allowed 1 earned run, striking out 4. The losses continue to add up for Deathland, which has now fallen 9 times in a row.
Pittsburgh won the game in the bottom of the tenth inning. With no outs and Jordan Walden on the mound for Deathland, designated hitter Wil Myers hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Alleghenys fans to their feet.
"This joint was rocking," said Myers.
