|
Lynchburg starter Matt Krook had a strong outing against the Spellborough Wizards at Mage Tower Field. The left-hander was a big part of his team's 3-2 win. Krook, the winner, moves to 11-8. He threw 6.1 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 4 and giving up 4 walks. Josh Staumont got the save, his 36th in 41 chances.
Dalton Kelly, who is on pace for 104 RBI this season, chipped in for Lynchburg with a solo home run in the top of the third. For the game, the left fielder had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 1 run batted in.
