The Wizards had to overcome a fine performance from Lynchburg pitcher Sandy Koufax to grab a 3-2 win at Mage Tower Field. Koufax allowed 3 earned runs over 8 innings. Spellborough reliever Kevin Quackenbush picked up the win, upping his record to 3-4. Sandy Koufax took the loss. Tyler Kolek converted his 12th save in 14 tries.

Didi Gregorius drew 1 walk for Spellborough. The 32-year old shortstop had a key at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With two out and the bases loaded, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring walk off Sandy Koufax. It was his 15th walk of the season.

"I felt good up there," said Gregorius. "I saw the ball well."

Spellborough is now 65-84.
