Hornets Lose, 4-2, at Mage Tower Field
It was a good time at Mage Tower Field, where fans came to watch the Lynchburg Hornets and Spellborough Wizards get after it.

The Spellborough Wizards picked up a win at Mage Tower Field, knocking off the Lynchburg Hornets, 4-2. Starting pitcher Danny Duffy, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. Tyler Kolek got the save, his 11th in 13 chances.

Spellborough second baseman Tyler Malone contributed to the cause with a single in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, Malone went 1-2.

"Baseball is about momentum," said Duffy, "and we feel we've got it in our favor after that win."

The last-place Wizards are now 64-84, the Hornets 78-70.
