Weresloths Continue Skid Thanks to Plawecki, Boomers
The New Vegas Boomers trumped the Deathland Weresloths, 14-6, at Turner Field. New Vegas designated hitter Kevin Plawecki was named player of the game for his performance. He went 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 5. The first-place Weresloths have lost 7 straight games.

Plawecki had an important at-bat with the bases loaded in the top of the fifth, when he hit a 2-run double. The Boomers went on to win.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Plawecki told the New Vegas Gazette. "It's as simple as that."
