Boomers Come Back Late to Top Weresloths
The New Vegas Boomers topped the Deathland Weresloths, 6-5, in Fantasy Baseball League of Doom action at Moles Stadium. The player of the game was New Vegas pitcher and Sterling, Illinois native Ryan Olson. New Vegas reliever Josh Outman got the win, raising his record to 2-3. Garrett Cleavinger was tagged with the loss. New Vegas is now 50-52.

Ryan Casteel, who is a two-time All-Star, aided the New Vegas cause with a run-scoring double in the bottom of the seventh. For the game, the pinch hitter was 1-1 with a double.

"We take it day by day here," said Olson, "and today was a good one for us."
