The Space City Moon Men defeated the Atlantic City Illuminati, 6-3, in Fantasy Baseball League of Doom action at Castel Sant'Angelo, with Space City pitcher Marcus Stroman named player of the game. Stroman got the win, improving to 8-7. He allowed 6 hits and walked 1 over 8.2 innings. Stroman allowed 3 earned runs. The second-place Moon Men have won 5 straight.
Early in the game, third baseman Joey Gallo had a 3-run home run for Space City. It was his 14th home run of the season and put the Moon Men on top, 3-0.
