Batterologists Squelch Black Cats Offense in Shutout Win
Yordano Ventura never let the Black Cats get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his fastball, to pitch the Batterologists to a 4-0 win. Berkeley now sits in last place in the Ellering League Hawk Division at 41-55.

With two out in the bottom of the sixth, Byron Buxton stroked a go-ahead run-scoring single. It was his 114th hit of the season and put Berkeley in front, 1-0.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Ventura told the Berkeley Times.
