Atlantic City Illuminati starter Patrick Raby pitched a strong game against the Spellborough Wizards at Castel Sant'Angelo, leading the Illuminati to a 4-2 win. Raby went 5.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 3 hits, walked 1, and struck out 7. His record improves to 6-6. Craig Kimbrel notched his 17th save in 21 chances.
The Illuminati got a big at-bat from shortstop Nick Gordon. For the game, Gordon went 1-4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the fifth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 6th home run of the season gave Atlantic City a 4-2 lead.
"The fans pay the tickets and help us do what we do, so we like to put on a show for them," Gordon told the Atlantic City News.
Atlantic City has now reeled off 6 straight wins.
