The Pawtucket Red Sox dealt the Deathland Weresloths a 7-5 loss at McCoy Stadium. Grant Burton was the star on offense. He hit 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice. Pawtucket reliever Dailyn De Oleo was credited with the win, to go to 4-0. Jordan Walden took the loss for Deathland. The first-place Red Sox have won 6 consecutive games.

Burton had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the ninth. On a 0-1 fastball from Jordan Walden, he banged a grand slam home run to left, giving the Red Sox a 7-5 lead. It was the 15th home run of the year for Burton.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Burton told the Pawtucket Bulletin. "It's as simple as that."
