It was a good time at Turner Field, where fans came to watch the New Vegas Boomers and Deathland Weresloths get after it.

Getting an impressive start from Damien Magnifico, Deathland beat New Vegas by the score of 5-2. The Weresloths bumped their record to 44-42 with this latest triumph.

Oscar Taveras swatted a solo home run for Deathland in the bottom of the fifth. The left fielder went 2 for 3 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 2 runs and batted in 1.

Taveras told a Deathland Herald reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
