Victory Pushes Black Cats Record to 45-45
|
The umbrellas came out during the Philadelphia-Batavia contest at Wrigley Field.
Philadelphia rode a decent outing from starter Kendry Flores to victory over the Batavia Muckdogs at Wrigley Field. The final score was 10-4. In 7 innings, Flores surrendered 3 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 3. He allowed 1 run.
The Black Cats got a big at-bat from right fielder Greg Larson. For the game, Larson went 1 for 5, while adding 2 RBI. In the top of the third, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run single. His 64th hit of the season gave Philadelphia a 2-0 lead.
"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Larson.
