Hornets Get Road Win, 6-4

Canadien center fielder Dazmon Cameron had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Cameron was 3 for 5 with 2 home runs, even as Lynchburg beat the Donkey Riders, 6-4. Cameron was named the player of the game despite the loss. Lynchburg reliever John Simms was the winner. His record is now 1-0. The losing pitcher was Takahiro Norimoto. The Hornets bumped their record to 47-38 with this latest triumph.
Dalton Kelly went 1 for 5 with a home run for Lynchburg. The 28-year old left fielder had a key at-bat in the top of the seventh. With one out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he broke a 3-3 tie with a run-scoring strikeout off Juan García. It was his 22nd RBI of the season.
"Feels good to get the job done," Kelly said after the game.
