Benefiting from Travis Blankenhorn's productive game, the Pawtucket Red Sox downed the Berkeley Batterologists, 6-2. Blankenhorn went 2-3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the Red Sox. Ashe Russell picked up the win, improving his season record to 7-3. He struck out 5 in 7 innings. The Red Sox bumped their record to 47-33 with this latest triumph.

Raul Mondesi, who is tied for 3rd in the EL in stolen bases with 27, aided the Pawtucket cause with a grand slam home run in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the shortstop was 1-4 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once.

"I'm just happy to help the team win," Mondesi told the Pawtucket Bulletin.
