Moon Men Raise Rally Flag, Beat Durham, 6-1

The Durham Bull Artists got a superb performance from pitcher Kensaku Yamaguchi. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Space City. The Moon Men won the game, 6-1. In spite of the loss, Yamaguchi was named the player of the game. He threw 6 innings of 5-hit ball. Hansel Robles was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 3 of 4 save opportunities. Space City is now 40-42, while Durham is 37-43.
A crucial at-bat came with runners on 1st and 3rd and no one out in the top of the fifth inning. That's when center fielder Mike Trout, who is a eight-time All-Star, drew a walk. The Moon Men went on to win.
"In baseball, you have your ups and downs," said Durham manager . "You just try to stay level-headed the whole time."
