Deathland starter Nicholas Storz put a stranglehold on the Space City offense. The right-hander had complete command of his fastball in leading the Weresloths to a 3-1 win. Storz went 6.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 3 hits, walked 6, and struck out 8. His record improves to 6-4. With the win, the Weresloths have a record of 39-39.

Oscar Taveras, who won the Most Valuable Player Award in 2017, aided the Deathland cause with a run-scoring double in the top of the third. For the game, the left fielder was 2 for 4 with a double.
